Project 4 Aims Picture

Goal: Identify and reduce exposure risks in drinking water and indoor air associated with chlorinated ethenes and per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) by combining piping infrastructure science with environmental fate and transport science. Research integrates computational modeling, field measurements and stakeholder engagement approaches to develop solutions in ways that are acceptable to communities.

Expected Outcomes: Environmental health literary (EHL) strategies coupled with fate and transport science provide solutions to reduce and prevent exposure risks to environmental contaminants.
